There’s no way I would ever believe that the disrespect for South Africa that this nomination demonstrates is inadvertent on the part of Trump or any member of his crew.
For one thing, we know he’s got a pantload of pro-apartheid creeps in his gang, just smong his tech-bro contingent, and I’m sure there are more.
And for another, Mr. DEI-is-the-worst-crime-of-all goes way out of his way on pretty much a daily basis to show disrespect to others – be they individuals or organizations or nations – even as he himself whines and wails "You’re disrespecting ME ME ME and MYYYYY country which is just an extension of MEEEE!!! "
